I'm Solomon Akor — Software Developer, Head of Operations, and Co-Founder of Kira Scales Limited. I build software and lead industrial operations in Nigeria.
I'm Solomon Akor — a Computer Science graduate, Software Developer, and Co-Founder of Kira Scales Limited. I lead operations and business development for Nigeria's dedicated industrial weighing company while building the software products that sit on top of it.
My journey started with a Computer Science degree, then took a pivot into the physical world. Managing cocoa warehouses taught me that measurement, accountability, and logistics are the invisible backbone of Nigerian trade — and that they were systematically broken.
Traveling abroad crystallized it: I saw weighbridge infrastructure that simply didn't exist at home. I came back with a mission. We co-founded Kira Scales Limited to supply, install, and calibrate industrial weighing equipment across Nigeria — and built a team that delivers on that promise.
Running field operations gave me a new perspective on software. The best tools aren't built in isolation — they're built by people who understand the operational reality they're solving. That's why I'm a developer: to close the gap between industry and technology in Africa.

Warehouse & Commodity Operations
Entered the commodities sector managing cocoa warehouse operations in West Africa. Gained ground-level exposure to industrial logistics, measurement, and supply chain management — and the inefficiencies that plagued them.
International Exposure — Weighbridge Technology
Traveled abroad and encountered advanced European weighbridge and industrial weighing infrastructure. The contrast with Nigeria was striking. I identified a clear, underserved market and returned with a plan.

Co-founded Kira Scales Limited, Nigeria's dedicated industrial weighing solutions company. As Head of Operations, I lead client delivery, field engineering, calibration projects, and business development across multiple industries.
